AWANA Club is designed for children age three through the sixth grade. AWANA stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," from II Timothy 2:15. Its purpose is to teach boys and girls about God's love for them with the hope that they receive Christ. Club members are taught to understand the Word of God through Scripture memory and applying those truths to their daily lives. 'The children are divided into three different clubs as determined by their age.
- Cubbies are three, four and five year olds
- Sparks are kindergarten, first, and second graders
- Truth and Training are third through sixth graders
This weekly ministry meets each Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. (September - April). The time is divided into three segments which include game time, council time, and handbook time. Our AWANA commanders are Jeff and Anita Winger. Contact the church office for more information!
